Job summary

Yü Group is hiring a Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer in Luton to join our nationwide metering team. You’ll start as a Dual Fuel Engineer and progress to warrant work and Elite status within about eight weeks, benefiting from industry-leading training and a clear progression path.

You’ll deliver safe, high-quality metering work, own stock and tools, and provide friendly customer interactions while complying with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Industry qualifications CMA1/CCN1 and MET1 (or equivalent).
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent).
• UK driving licence required.
• DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal and maintenance of metering systems and related equipment.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer interactions reflecting company values.
• Take ownership of stock, tools and company vehicle.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to meet team goals.
• Be open to ongoing development through training and mentoring.

You will start the role as a Dual Fuel Engineer and within around 8 weeks you will be trained in warrant work and progress to an Elite Dual Fuel Engineer.

Elite Engineers:

• Undertake friendly debt resolution visits to support customers.
• Alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer (always supported — never solo).

Non-Elite (Dual Fuel Only):

• Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits.
