Job summary

Yü Group is hiring a Dual Fuel Metering Engineer in Glasgow. Start salary is £38,110 per year with progression to £43,260 after upskilling. The role includes full training in warrants, MET4 and related competencies, with a focus on safe, high-quality metering work for commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent) qualifications.
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent) desirable.
• Driving licence required to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install, exchange, commission, remove and maintain metering systems and related equipment with safety as priority.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer interactions during each visit.
• Take ownership of stock, tools and company vehicle; work with management to achieve team goals.

You will start the role as a Dual Fuel Engineer and within around 8 weeks you will be trained in warrant work and progress to an Elite Dual Fuel Engineer. Starting salary £38,110 progressing to £43,260 once upskilled.

Elite Engineers:

• Undertake friendly debt resolution visits to support customers.
• Alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer (always supported — never solo).

Non-Elite (Dual Fuel Only):

• Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits.
