Job summary

Yü Group, a leading UK energy supplier, is seeking a Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer in Falkirk. The role is permanent and full-time, reporting to the Regional Field Manager. You will be responsible for safe installation, exchange, commissioning and maintenance of commercial metering systems.

We offer comprehensive training from day one, clear progression, and a competitive package including a salary of £43,260 per year with potential to reach £50k–£55k as you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer.
• Must have CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent) and a Power qualification.
• UK Driving Licence and DBS check are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal, and maintenance of metering systems and related equipment.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer interactions during every visit.
• Collaborate with team and management to meet business goals.

Elite Engineers

• Undertake friendly debt resolution visits to support customers.
• Alternate between attending Warrants as the on‑site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer (always supported — never solo).

Non‑Elite (Dual Fuel Only)

• Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits.

• Safety first. Safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal, and maintenance of metering systems, associated equipment, and communication systems.
• Able to deliver friendly, professional customer interactions, ensuring every visit reflects our values.
• Compliance focussed. All health and safety regulations, metering standards, and company procedures.
• Take ownership of stock, tools, and company vehicle.
• Be collaborative. Working with colleagues and management to deliver team and business goals.
• Be open to ongoing development through technical training and mentoring opportunities.

Qualifications

• An experienced Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
• UK Driving Licence
• Pass a DBS check
