Yu Energy in Stirling is seeking a Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer to install, commission and maintain metering systems for commercial customers. You’ll start as Dual Fuel Engineer with progression to Elite after upskilling, supported by comprehensive training and a rotating shift pattern.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service and stock/tool management, with clear career progression and ongoing development opportunities within Yü Group.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence.
• Pass a DBS check.
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent).
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Safety-first installation, exchange, commissioning, removal and maintenance of metering systems and related equipment.

You will start the role as a Dual Fuel Engineer and within around 8 weeks you will be trained in warrant work and progress to an Elite Dual Fuel Engineer. Starting salary £38,110 progressing to £43,260 once upskilled.

Elite Engineers:

• Undertake friendly debt resolution visits to support customers.
• Alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer (always supported — never solo).

Non-Elite (Dual Fuel Only):

• Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits.
