Job summary

Aviva is seeking a DUA Hub Specialist to oversee onboarding and control of delegated underwriting authority relationships across their lifecycle, ensuring robust governance and stakeholder engagement.

You will work closely with underwriting, risk, compliance and internal audit to streamline processes, enhance risk controls, and drive service improvements while navigating ambiguity and complex tasks.

Qualifications

• Insurance sector experience in a DUA Technician/Underwriter/Broker/Portfolio/Schemes Manager role.
• London Market (Lloyds Syndicate) or Company Market experience essential.
• Experience interrogating, assessing and improving systemised processes for delegated authorities.
• Experience in controlled environments and outsourcing standards.

Responsibilities

• Support, implement and develop service standards for the DUA Hub.
• Onboard and manage delegated underwriting authority relationships across their lifecycle.
• Collaborate on project work and BAU activities with stakeholders and operations teams.
• Engage with underwriting, product governance, distribution, 2LOD Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.
