Protocol Education Limited is seeking a DT Food Specialist for a maternity cover at a mainstream secondary school in Radstock, starting in January. The role focuses on delivering Food Technology lessons to KS3-4 and supporting practical cookery and nutrition education.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or be an experienced Food Technology/Hospitality & Catering specialist, with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and the ability to build positive relationships with students

Formación

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or is an experienced Food Technology/Hospitality & Catering specialist.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Food Education.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Experience in secondary school setting desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3-4.
• Inspire practical cookery skills and nutritional understanding.
• Create an inclusive environment encouraging participation and achievement.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations.
