Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Drop Hammer Press Operator / Stamper to join a leading UK forging team in Dudley. You will operate Massey 1T and 2T drop hammers, clipping presses and related equipment to produce high-integrity forged components to specification.

This physically demanding, safety-critical role requires proven experience in hot forging, stamping or heavy press work, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating drop forging hammers or power hammers.
Experience in hot forging, stamping, or heavy press operations.
Ability to read job cards, drawings, or production specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate Massey 1T & 2T drop hammers safely and efficiently.
Set up tooling, dies, and workstations for production runs.
Forge heated billets to required shapes and tolerances.
Operate clipping/trimming presses to remove flash and finish forgings.
Monitor forging quality and dimensional accuracy.
Adjust hammer blows and positioning based on material behaviour.
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of machinery.
Ensure safety and PPE compliance in a heavy industrial environment.
