Job summary

Codi Group is seeking empathetic care staff for our Ammanford supported living service. You will support people with daily living tasks, promote independence, and help residents engage in community activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with people with physical or mental health needs is desirable, but full training is provided.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential for driving mobility vehicles.
• Role is open to biologically female applicants only.

Responsibilities

• Support a sociable group to stay active in the community, with good local transport links nearby
• Encourage independence through a do with, not do for approach, adapting to routines and changes
• Promote hobbies and new experiences, from meals out to interests like steam trains and vintage cars
• Assist with daily living tasks including cooking, shopping, and maintaining a comfortable home
• Provide light personal care and medication support as needed
• Complete admin tasks and maintain accurate digital records
• Drive individuals to activities and appointments, offering companionship and support
