What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work as part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on a multidrop basis – an average of 16 drops per day off-peak and 24 drops per day in peak season
• Assist the delivery driver in parking and manoeuvring a company vehicle as well as loading and unloading of vehicles as required
• Provide effective customer service while ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and communicate any issues politely and courteously

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience of dealing with multi-drop home delivery preferred but not essential
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to perform manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting, and pushing
• A can-do attitude with a knack for problem solving
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check
• Be prepared to commute to Luton (LU1 1HJ) for the required shift pattern
