What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work as part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises on a multidrop basis – an average of 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drops per day in peak season.
• Assist the delivery driver with parking, manoeuvring a company vehicle, loading, and unloading as required.
• Provide effective customer service, ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition.
• Keep customers informed of estimated delivery times and communicate any issues politely and courteously.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience with multi-drop home delivery preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to perform manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting, and pushing.
• A can-do attitude with problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Be prepared to commute to Croydon (CR0 4YA) for the required shift pattern.
