Job Overview
Reporting to either the Branch Manager or the Welfare Services Co-ordinator, the Events & Toilet Operator’s role involves delivering, servicing, and collecting temporary toilets from customers professionally, safely, and punctually.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries and collections as assigned by your line manager.
- Set up equipment on site.
- Provide professional customer service at all times while on site and driving the company vehicle.
- Service equipment on site according to agreed schedules and legal requirements.
- Maintain equipment following company procedures.
- Ensure branch presentation is maintained.
- Notify your line manager of new sites or potential new customers.
- Perform daily vehicle and pump checks, including oil, water levels, lights, and tyre tread.
- Load the vehicle safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Adhere to legal guidelines regarding tachograph use when required.
- Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with UK law.
- Identify repairs needed and update the system accordingly.
- Complete and obtain customer signatures on electronic or paper documents during delivery or collection.
- Assist with stock takes as needed.
- Work to ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
- Load equipment correctly and ensure it is not left in public areas.
- Maintain equipment to meet Health and Safety standards.
- Prioritize personal health and safety as far as reasonably practicable.
- Perform any other duties within your skill and competence as required to support business operations.
