Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Drivers Mate for our Dartford operation on the IKEA contract. You will work in a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture to customers’ homes and maintaining high levels of customer service while on the road.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a 48-hour week on a rotating 5 days on/3 days off pattern. Starts between 05:00–06:00, with a starting salary around £34,553 per year, plus benefits and wellbeing programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture as part of a 2-person team and provide a first-class customer experience.
• Call customers ahead of time to confirm ETA and perform pre-delivery assessment.
• Provide feedback to site regarding issues encountered during deliveries.
• Record delivery outcomes using the Flexi Pod system.

AtGXO, we’re expanding and looking for dedicated Drivers Mates to join our energetic team atDartford, Kent working on our IKEA contract. As aDrivers Mateyou will be delivering furniture forIKEAas part of a 2-person delivery team. Customer service will be at the heart of this role!

This is a full time, permanent role you will be working48 hoursper week on a shift pattern of5 days on, 3 days offover an8-week rotawith start times between05:00 – 06:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homesand providing a first-class customer service experience
• Responsible for calling customers ahead of time to advise of ETA and carry out pre delivery assessment of the property
• Provide feedback to site regarding any issues during deliveries
• Accurately record delivery outcomes on to Flexi Pod system
