Our drivers are a crucial part of EV Cargo, and we are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team and help us transport goods across the country during the day.

The Role

Class 1 Driver - Days

Our drivers are vital to EV Cargo, and we are looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team for daytime deliveries across the country.

Salary

Yearly £35,000

Location

This role will be based at our site in Burton on Trent.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various HGV driving duties, including daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness, and comply with vehicle security and standing procedures.
• Manage handheld terminals and record accurate information.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and return it to the Transport Office.
• Report any delivery issues promptly to the Transport Office.
• Provide professional driving services, exceeding customer expectations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Be available to work weekends.
