HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted to Join EVENTOR for the 2025 Events Season!

Logistics People are looking for HGV Drivers/HGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/Class 1 Drivers to join our team supporting Eventor for the 2025 motorsports and events season.

Pay Rate: £185.00 per day

This position is demanding but rewarding. If you have passion and determination to be part of a first-class team, get in touch. You will work in a fast-paced environment, so a hardworking, can-do attitude is essential. The operation is complex but rewarding.

What does Eventor pride itself on?

  1. Transporting high-spec cargo in high-spec articulated trucks.
  2. Preparing and loading equipment, delivering, and setting up (rigging trackside) at the event. Afterward, responsible for breakdown and transportation of equipment to the next location.
  3. Maintaining attention to detail throughout the event, ensuring high standards of appearance for team buildings, garages, and equipment.
  4. Providing first-class customer service, working effectively as a team and supporting each other during the event.
  5. This is not just a driving job; if you enjoy a challenge and don't mind physical work (manual lifting up to 50kg), this could be your entry into event work.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Safely delivering units, trailers, and equipment to UK and European events. LGV C+E Licence is essential.
  2. Working in a team environment.
  3. Adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  4. Working in demanding conditions, including extreme weather and at heights.
  5. Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Promoting the Eventor brand positively.
  8. Potential worldwide travel based on customer needs.
  9. Being away from home for up to 7 weeks or as required.
  10. In the off-season (September-April), working in the Culina group (general haulage).
  11. Experience driving both left and right-hand LGV vehicles.

About you:

Essential requirements include:

  1. Motorsport, event, or touring experience.
  2. Experience with customs and Carnets (training provided if needed).
  3. At least 12 months of LGV C+E driving experience in the UK and EU.
  4. Valid passport.

The successful candidate should work well under pressure, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and be available for extended periods away from home. A DBS check will be required.
