Job summary

FSW Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. You will plan efficient delivery routes and deliver goods up to 3.5 tonnes, while also performing daily vehicle checks and maintaining records.

In the warehouse, you will unload, sort, pick and pack orders, and help keep a safe, tidy environment. A full UK driving licence and good maths/english are essential.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education including maths and English.
• Proven driving experience with vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Professional customer service attitude.
• Ability to participate in out-of-hours standby service on rostered basis.
• Forklift licence would be advantageous, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver goods to Glasgow and surrounding areas.
• Deliver using vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and communicate delivery updates.
• Unload, sort, stack and store incoming goods in the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders for customer collection/delivery.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse environment and assist with other tasks.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving and Delivery:

• Plan efficient delivery routes throughout Glasgow and surrounding areas
• Deliver goods safely and on time using vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain roadworthiness
• Communicate with customers about delivery updates
• Handle fragile packages and heavy items including gas cylinders
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

Warehouse Operations:

• Unload, sort, stack and store incoming goods
• Pick and pack orders for customer collection and delivery
• Process order requests accurately and efficiently
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse environment
• Assist with other warehouse functions as required

What You Need

• Good standard of education including maths and English
• Proven driving experience with vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
• Full UK driving licence required
• Professional customer service attitude
• Ability to participate in out-of-hours standby service on rostered basis

Forklift Truck Licence would be advantageous, however training can be provided.

Hours

40 hours per week (including bank holidays)
