Job summary

M&H Logistics is hiring for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver role in Cambuslang. This full-time, permanent position supports loading, unloading, stock movement, storage, order preparation and dispatch while maintaining health and safety standards.

You will operate Forklift Trucks, use RF scanners, and work on day or night shifts. The role involves keeping accurate stock records and contributing to team targets in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Valid Forklift Truck / FLT Licence.
Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience.
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Good understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Flexible and able to undertake manual handling and lifting duties.
Experience loading and unloading trailers would be desirable.
Previous experience working day or night shifts would be desirable.
Knowledge of inventory management systems or additional MHE licences would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
Load and unload vehicles in line with operational requirements.
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
Move goods throughout the warehouse and maintain organised storage locations.
Carry out stock checks and support accurate inventory control.
Complete daily equipment checks and report defects or maintenance requirements.
Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with general warehouse duties and work as part of a team to achieve targets.
