Job summary

Jarvie Plant Ltd. is seeking a Driver/Valeter for the Paisley rentals team to present vehicles professionally, ensure safe delivery, and prepare units for customer use.

You will support dependable hire solutions while maintaining high standards of vehicle presentation and safety. Ideal candidates hold a full UK driving licence, have driving or rental experience, and can clean and maintain vehicles to a high standard with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in a driving or rental environment is desirable.
• Ability to clean and maintain vehicles to a high standard.
• Customer-focused approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to support wider teams.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering and collecting rental vehicles from customer locations.
• Cleaning vehicles inside and out to a high standard.
• Carrying out off-hire inspections and recording any damage.
• Checking service certificates and updating service stickers.
• Refuelling and performing routine safety checks (oil, tyres, screen wash, etc.).
• Test driving vehicles to ensure they're in good working condition.
• Supporting with general site and yard maintenance.
• Check tyres for damage and carry out repairs or replacements where necessary.

Your efforts keep our fleet in top condition and ready when customers need it. By ensuring vehicles are clean, safe, and delivered on time, you directly support the efficiency and reliability JP Rentals is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely delivering and collecting rental vehicles from customer locations
• Cleaning vehicles inside and out to a high standard
