Job summary

Fresh Direct is seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to join our distribution and logistics team at the Bicester Depot. You will train drivers in the classroom and conduct on-road assessments to ensure exceptional service for customers.

You will join the Transport department's training team, covering shifts as needed and working with multiple stakeholders. A Class 1 licence and driving experience are essential, with IOSH/NEBOSH/ROSPA qualifications seen as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Full and clean Class 1 Licence with 3 years driving experience.
• Experience training drivers in the classroom and on-road assessments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; computer literate.
• IOSH/NEBOSH/ROSPA qualifications advantageous.
• Flexibility to cover all shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver driver training in classroom and on-road settings.
• Assess driver performance across shifts.
• Coordinate training across the Transport department.
• Maintain accurate training records.

Job Description

Shift: Monday to Friday however flexibility is needed for this role.

Mainly0800-17:00 but Afternoon, Nights and weekend work Will be required.

A great opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our distribution and logistics team at our Bicester Depot. You will be joining a small team that keep our network running, ensuring we deliver an exceptional level of service to our customers.

You will form part of the Transport department's training team, working alongside a number of shareholders in a varied role. From training our drivers in the classroom, to on road assessments and training.

You will be flexible in order to cover the department's training needs across all shifts. Have an eye for accuracy, recent HGV driving experience (preferably multi-drop experience), a people person.

Applicants must be Class 1 qualified.

• You will have a full and clean Class 1 Licence with3yrs full driving experience.
• It would also be be very advantageous for applicants to have Health and Safety qualifications accredited to IOSH , NEBOSH and ROSPA.
• Computer literacy is also a requirementand you will have strong Microsoft Office abilities.
