Job summary

Fresh Direct in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to join theTransport department at the Bicester Depot. You will train drivers in the classroom and perform on-road assessments while supporting a small training team across shifts.

The role requires a full Class 1 licence with at least 3 years of driving experience. IOSH/NEBOSH/ROSPA qualifications are advantageous, and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Job description

Salary: £45k- £50k

Shift: Monday to Friday however flexibility is needed for this role.

Mainly 0800-17:00 but Afternoon, Nights and weekend work will be required.

A great opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our distribution and logistics team at our Bicester Depot. You will be joining a small team that keep our network running, ensuring we deliver an exceptional level of service to our customers.

You will form part of the Transport department's training team, working alongside a number of shareholders in a varied role. From training our drivers in the classroom, to on road assessments and training.

You will be flexible in order to cover the department's training needs across all shifts. Have an eye for accuracy, recent HGV driving experience (preferably multi-drop experience), a people person.

Applicants must be Class 1 qualified.

• You will have a full and clean Class 1 Licence with 3yrs full driving experience.
• It would also be be very advantageous for applicants to have Health and Safety qualifications accredited to IOSH, NEBOSH and ROSPA.
• Computer literacy is also a requirement and you will have strong Microsoft Office abilities.
