Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Exeter is seeking a Driver's Mate to support our drivers in delivering goods safely and on time. The role starts early and includes Saturdays throughout the year, with a permanent full-time contract.

The position emphasizes manual handling, organisational skills, and basic maths, with a full valid Cat B license desirable and minimal points. A competitive package includes benefits and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload.
• Can perform simple maths calculations.
• Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker.
• Full valid driving licence Cat B (Car Licence) Desirable
• No more than 6 points

• Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises.
• Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems.
• Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday Start times 05:00 - 09:00, Plus 3 Contracted Saturdays throughout the year
