Job summary

Veolia UK in Wolverhampton is seeking a Driver to join our fleet, delivering essential waste collection services across local communities. This full-time role includes early starts at 04:00, a 48-hour week, and Saturday/Bank Holiday rota work.

You’ll operate Class 2 (Cat C) licence duties, complete vehicle checks, and use onboard tech to log notes. With a competitive salary of £41,429.28 per year plus benefits, you’ll have access to pension, wellbeing support, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence required.
• Digi/Tachograph card required.
• Up-to-date CPC required.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple waste containers.
• Lifting bins of all weights and sizes so you are always on the go.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.

£5.00 Daily meal allowance
Single person allowance - Earn an extra £41.16 daily when you complete over 110 bins
Hours: 48 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 04:00am starts
Required to work Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
