Job summary

Voi is hiring a Fleet Specialist in Northampton to keep the electric fleet safe, charged and ready. You will split time between city operations and the warehouse, using a Voi e-van for maintenance and recharging.

Full training provided, no prior mechanical experience required. Responsibilities include battery swapping, on-the-spot fixes, and vehicle deployment in public spaces, plus warehouse maintenance and logistics for new vehicles and batteries.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence for at least 12 months
• Must be 21 years or older
• Willingness to perform active, physical work with tools
• Reliable, good at teamwork and taking initiative
• Able to use basic digital tools

Responsibilities

Your mission at Voi

Out in the city

• Deploy vehicles safely and be a friendly face for the public

In the warehouse

• Maintain, repair and diagnose vehicles
• Receive, pack and send out new vehicles and batteries
• Keep the workspace clean, safe and organised

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO EMBARK

One firm requirement: a full UK driving licence — held for at least 12 months, no more than 6 points, no major offences. You must be 21 or over. Licence checks are part of the process.

Everything else we teach. We're looking for someone who:

• Is reliable and follows through on commitments
• Enjoys teamwork and takes initiative when needed
• Is comfortable with active, physical work using tools and equipment provided
• Communicates clearly and is confident with basic digital tools
• Stays calm under pressure and treats everyone with respect

Nice to have — but not essential:

• Vehicle repair experience · Logistics driving · Forklift/first aid/ADR certificates · Interest in micromobility

JOB CONDITIONS

• Shifts: 5 days out of 7 — Day time , with some evening flexibility depending on operational needs
• Contract: 6 Months Fixed-term, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs
• Equipment: All tools and a Voi e-van provided — you don't need to bring anything
