Job summary

A leading micromobility company in Cambridge is seeking a Fleet Specialist for the night shift. You will ensure the logistics of collecting and providing scooters, perform repairs, and assist with vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate has a full UK driving license, strong knowledge of city driving, and the ability to work independently or in a team. This role offers a fixed-term contract with opportunities to grow and contribute to sustainable urban mobility.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to carry heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Ensure logistics of collecting and providing Voi scooters.
• Collect damaged scooters and perform quick repairs.
• Assist with the arrival of new vehicles and batteries.
• Perform quick on-site scooter repairs.
• Diagnose and repair broken vehicles.
• Recycle or dismantle vehicles that cannot be repaired.
• Assist with acceptance and provisioning of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse.
• Support the on-site team by identifying damaged vehicles and keeping spaces clear.

Fleet Specialist (Night-Shift), Cambridge

Your mission at Voi

• Ensuring the logistics of collecting and providing Voi scooters⚙️
• Searching for and collecting damaged scooters 🛴
• Battery replacement🔋
• Performing quick on-site repairs of the scooters🔧
• Diagnosing and repairing broken vehicles🔧
• Recycling and dismantling vehicles that cannot be repaired ♻️
• Assisting with the acceptance, packaging, and provision of new vehicles and batteries arriving at the warehouse🔍
• Supporting our on-site team as needed, whether it's identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles🤝

What you'll need to embark

• Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offenses and no major offenses and meet the requirements for our e-Van insurance. The reason for this is you may be required to drive one of our e-Van's occasionally
• In-depth knowledge of your city and you’re used to driving in your city
• Responsible team player that can manage tasks alone and also work well together in a group
• Ability to motivate others and to share knowledge within the team
• Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets and OKR’s
• Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
• Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic…)
• You have a physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads
• PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role.

Job conditions

• NOTE: our Talent Acquisition is based in Spain, you will receive a phone call from a Spanish number (+34)!
• Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (2-week shift pattern)
