Voi Technology is seeking a Fleet Specialist to operate across two areas: mechanical maintenance and in-field van tasks in the Cambridge area. You will keep scooters in top shape, support the ground team, and drive company EV vans to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory driving licence for UK (12+ months) with up to 6 points and no major offences.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quick on-site repairs of scooters.
  • Diagnose and repair broken vehicles.
  • Recycle and dismantle vehicles that cannot be repaired.
  • Assist with acceptance, packaging, and provisioning of new vehicles and batteries at the warehouse.
  • Support on-site team by identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our on-site team as needed, whether it's identifying damaged vehicles, clearing parking spaces, or setting up fallen vehicles
Your mission at Voi

For the position as a Fleet Specialist, you'll have the possibility of working in two different areas, depending on workload and suitability. We have our mechanical team, where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles. This means keeping our scooters in top shape and provide strong support to our team on the ground. We also have our In field team, where you'll be utilising our vans to perform different tasks in the Cambridge area, making sure our operations runs as efficiently as possible. Here are some exciting tasks awaiting you as a Fleet Specialist:

What You'll Need To Embark
  • Mandatory requirement – Driving licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences, to meet our e-van insurance requirements. Licence checks will be conducted during the recruitment process. As part of the role, you will be required to drive one of our company e-vans
  • In-depth knowledge of your city and you’re used to driving in your city
  • Responsible team player that can manage tasks alone and also work well together in a group
  • Ability to motivate others and to share knowledge within the team
  • Pragmatic problem-solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets and OKR’s
  • Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions
  • Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic…)
  • You have a physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads
  • PLEASE NOTE: You may be required to go through a DBS Check for this role
Job conditions
  • Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (2-week shift pattern)
  • Working hours: Flexibility to work shifts including possible shifts during nights and weekends
  • Contract type: 6 months Fixed Term contract
