Job summary

Voi Technology AB is seeking a Fleet Specialist in Northampton to keep our electric fleet charged, safe and ready to ride. You will split time between city operations and the warehouse, driving a Voi e-van to perform maintenance and battery swaps.

Full training is provided and no prior mechanical experience is required. The role includes night shifts (5 days out of 7) and a focus on reliability, teamwork and safe operation in a fast-growing micromobility company.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• You must be 21 or over.
• No more than 6 points and no major offences.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Comfort with physical work and using tools.

Responsibilities

• Swap batteries and rebalance the fleet across the city.
• Carry out minor on-the-spot fixes and escalate bigger issues.
• Deploy vehicles safely and be a friendly face for the public.
• Maintain, repair and diagnose vehicles in the warehouse.
• Receive, pack and send out new vehicles and batteries.

Your mission at Voi

As a Fleet Specialist, you'll keep Voi's electric vehicles safe, charged and ready to ride. You'll split your time between the city and the warehouse, using a company e-van to maintain and recharge our fleet. Full training provided — no mechanical experience needed.

Out in the city:

• Swap batteries and rebalance the fleet across the city

• Carry out minor on-the-spot fixes and elevate bigger issues

• Deploy vehicles safely and be a friendly face for the public

In the warehouse:

• Maintain, repair and diagnose vehicles

• Receive, pack and send out new vehicles and batteries

• Keep the workspace clean, safe and organised

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO EMBARK

One firm requirement: a full UK driving licence — held for at least 12 months, no more than 6 points, no major offences. You must be 21 or over. Licence checks are part of the process.

Everything else we teach. We're looking for someone who:

• Is reliable and follows through on commitments

• Enjoys teamwork and takes initiative when needed

• Is comfortable with active, physical work using tools and equipment provided

• Communicates clearly and is confident with basic digital tools

• Stays calm under pressure and treats everyone with respect

Nice to have — but not essential:

• Vehicle repair experience
• Logistics driving
• Forklift/first aid/ADR certificates
• Interest in micromobility

JOB CONDITIONS

• Shifts: 5 days out of 7 — Night time , with some evening flexibility depending on operational needs

• Contract: 6 Months Fixed-term, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs

• Equipment: All tools and a Voi e-van provided — you don't need to bring anything
