Job summary

Ethero Ltd in Burton on Trent is seeking a Porter/Driver Mate for temporary ongoing work. You will support deliveries, load vehicles, and provide excellent customer service at point of delivery.

Shifts run Tue–Sat, start early between 5:30 and 7:00, with a 30-minute unpaid break. Pay starts at £13.20 per hour, rising after 48 hours and for unsociable hours, with on-site parking and canteen facilities.

• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Problem solver – working to resolve customer problems at the point of delivery.

• Be flexible in relation to shifts and duties with excellent timekeeping.
• Be smartly presented at all times and have excellent customer service skills and be detail focused.

Responsibilities

• Deal with customer queries until satisfaction.
• Ensure deliveries arrive in excellent condition.
• Inform customers of delivery ETA and issues.
• Assist in loading vehicles.
• Ensure customer is happy before leaving premises.
• Follow instructions, training, and quality standards.
• Report faults, hazards, or concerns promptly.
