Job summary

InPost seeks skilled Driver Loaders to join the Carlisle depot, blending warehouse duties with driving on a 4 on/4 off rotation. You will scan, sort and load parcels, then deliver door-to-door and to InPost Lockers.

You must hold a full UK driving licence, have good English, and be flexible, customer-focused with a safety-first mindset. Training and PPE are provided to support you in this varied role.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK/EU driving licence required.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Good written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to work independently across warehouse and driving duties.
• Ability to read maps and plan routes effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Customer-first mindset when representing InPost.

Responsibilities

• Split day between warehouse and driving duties to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with scanning and sorting parcels using the Handheld Terminal.
• Unload inbound vehicles and load outbound routes.
• Deliver parcels door-to-door and via InPost Lockers.
• Record deliveries and locker transactions for live tracking.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment and parcel security throughout the shift.
• Complete end-of-shift debrief and depot checks.
