Job summary

InPost UK is hiring Parcel Delivery Drivers for the Alfreton team. You will load your vehicle, deliver parcels to customers, and ensure secure transit during night shifts in a fast-growing, UK-wide logistics network.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence, at least 3 years driving experience, no major disqualifications, good local knowledge, and a readiness to pass DBS checks and drug/alcohol testing. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR.
• Solid local knowledge of commercial addresses & streets.
• Physically fit for multi-drop driving and warehouse work.
• Willing to undergo DBS check before start.
• Drug and alcohol testing may be conducted randomly.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicle safely and within legislation.
• Deliver parcels to customers safely, efficiently and on time.
• Ensure security of the vehicle and goods during transit.
• Uplift previous days orders.
• Complete all documentation per company procedure.
• Break down and load inbound supplies.
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy.
• Adhere to company procedures and policies.

Location: InPost Alfreton, Venture Crescent, Nixs Hill Industrial Estate DE65 7RA
Shift Pattern: 5 out of 6 days
Hours: 22:45 - 07:15
Salary: £13.78 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

• Load your vehicle safely and within legislation
• Deliver parcels to our customers safely, efficiently and on time

What We Need From You

• Full UK driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
• At least 3 years driving experience
• No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
• Solid local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses & streets
• Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi drop driving and warehouse role
• Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
• Fully DBS checked - prior to commencement.
• Drug & alcohol testing if successful on a random basis.
