Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver for the Carlisle area. The role covers delivering parcels, loading and unloading at the depot, and maintaining safety and accuracy in route execution.

You will work Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00-17:30, totaling 40 hours per week. A valid UK driving licence, solid local knowledge, and DBS clearance are expected. A competitive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience.
• No prior disqualifications (NI, DD or DR).
• Solid local knowledge of commercial addresses & streets.
• Physically able for multi-drop driving and warehouse tasks.
• Hardworking, positive with flexible attitude.
• Fully DBS checked before start.

Responsibilities

• Load your vehicle safely and within legislation.
• Deliver parcels to customers safely, efficiently and on time.
• Ensure security of the vehicle and goods during transit to customer.
• Uplifting previous days orders.
• Complete all documentation as per company procedure.
• Break down, allocate and load inbound supplies.
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy.
• Adhere to company procedures and policies.
