Job summary

Veolia North Wales is seeking a Logistics Driver to operate on fixed routes across North Wales, collecting and disposing of waste. The role offers weekly pay and industry benefits, with a starting rate of £14.55 per hour.

You will work 42.5 hours per week, with a 06:30 start from Mona Industrial Estate, Anglesey. Applicants should hold a Class 2 licence (Cat C), up-to-date CPC, and Digi/Tachograph card, plus strong time management.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Essential: Up-to-date CPC.
• Essential: Digi / Tachograph Card.
• Essential: Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and empty multiple waste containers.
• Lift bins of varying weights as required.
• Perform daily vehicle checks per operator handbook.
• Input all data into onboard system and keep paperwork up to date.

Salary: £14.55 per hour plus Veolia benefits - Paid weekly

Single person allowance: Earn an extra £11.00 daily on RCV routes completing over 100 bins.

Hours: 42.5 Hours per week, 06.30 starts. Monday - Friday with Saturday overtime on a rota basis (minimum 1 per month)

Finishing times may vary on occasions, therefore some flexibility is required.

Location : Veolia North Wales, Mona Industrial Estate, Gwalchmai, Anglesey, LL65 4RJ

What you'll be doing ;

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers
• Lifting bins of all weights and sizes
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

What we're looking for ;

Essential:

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Up to date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph Card
• Excellent time management skills

Desirable:

• RCV, Roro and Skip experience would be a distinct advantage
• Prior experience working in the Waste Industry
