Job summary

SUEZ is hiring a Class 2 driver in Bridgwater to drive and support loading household waste and recycling as part of a team. You will deliver reliable, high-quality service to residents and follow strict health and safety standards.

You will primarily operate Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and Recycling Vehicles, with full training provided. We welcome newly qualified drivers and experienced drivers, with a benefits package including a joining bonus and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence, CPC, Tachograph required.
• Newly qualified and experienced drivers welcome.
• Reliable, safety-focused attitude required.
• Team player with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle and assist with loading household waste and recycling.

What will I be doing?

• You will be responsible for both driving the vehicle and supporting with the loading of household waste and recycling, working as part of a team to complete daily collections efficiently.
• Delivering a reliable, high-quality service to residents
• Always working to strict health & safety standards
• You'll primarily operate RCVs(Refuse Collection Vehicles) + Recycling Vehicles as required giving you variety in your day-to-day work.

What are the requirements?

• Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid CPC card and Tachograph card
• Newly qualified drivers welcome, as well as experienced drivers
• A reliable, safety-focused attitude with good communication skills
• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Waste or RCV experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
