Job summary

SUEZ in the United Kingdom is hiring a driver for local waste collections. You will operate Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and Recycling Vehicles, loading waste and recycling as part of a team to keep daily routes efficient.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence (Category C) with valid CPC and Tachograph cards.
• Newly qualified or experienced drivers welcome.
• Reliability, safety focus and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) and support loading of household waste and recycling.
• Deliver a reliable, high-quality service to residents.
• Always work to strict health & safety standards.
• Operate RCVs and Recycling Vehicles as required to provide daily variety.

Job description

What will I be doing?

• You will be responsible for both driving the vehicle and supporting with the loading of household waste and recycling, working as part of a team to complete daily collections efficiently.
• Delivering a reliable, high-quality service to residents
• Always working to strict health & safety standards
• You'll primarily operate RCVs(Refuse Collection Vehicles) + Recycling Vehicles as required giving you variety in your day-to-day work.

What are the requirements?

• Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid CPC card and Tachograph card
• Newly qualified drivers welcome, as well as experienced drivers
• A reliable, safety-focused attitude with good communication skills
• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Waste or RCV experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
