Job summary

Graham Rose is seeking an Immediate Driver Labourer in the Redhill area to support housing stock maintenance. The role is 37 hours per week with a salary of £25,878 per annum and is based locally.

You will perform manual labour tasks, assist in loading/unloading vehicles, and help with building maintenance works in occupied or void properties. A valid licence with minimal points is required and prior labouring experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license with no more than 6 points required.
• Previous labouring experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, co-ordinate and transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Perform general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying.
• Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Work solo or as part of a team on maintenance projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and sites.
• Safely operate company vehicle in compliance with traffic laws.
• Use a PDA to receive tasks.

Job description

Immediate position for Driver Labourers required in the Redhill area. You will be working on the clients' housing stock in a localised area.

Driver/Labourer - £25,878 per annum - 37 hours per week

Key responsibilities

• Planning, co-ordinating and undertaking the Transportation of goods, equipment, and materials to designated locations promptly and efficiently.
• Perform general labour duties, including digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling materials as required. In both occupied and void properties.
• Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring proper handling, and securing of items.
• Working as an individual or as part of a team on all aspects of building maintenance work, from minor repairs to larger one-off projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and job sites.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicle, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to receive allocated work tasks and complete follow-up actions.
• Previous experience welcomed
• Driving License with no more than 6 points
