Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking an HGV Driver with HIAB to join our Non-Mechanical division. You will load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites, demonstrate equipment if required, and complete all relevant checks and administration for hires.

The role requires a proven HGV driving background, responsible and safe driving, and compliance with health and safety standards. We value service, career growth and commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites is essential.
• Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card.
• HIAB licence preferred but full training will be provided.
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from customer sites.
• Completion of required checks and administration for hires.
• Demonstration of equipment to customers when required.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.
