Job summary

Burdens, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting a Delivery Driver 18T to 23T with HIAB for the Newmains area (ML2 9BG). This full-time role covers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, delivering and collecting civils materials and building strong customer relationships.

You will hold a Class 2 licence with HIAB, CPC card, Digital Tacho card, and be comfortable using handheld devices; you will prioritise safety, vehicle checks and accurate loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 licence with HIAB experience.
• CPC card.
• Digital Tacho card experience.
• Capable of using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to the very highest of standards.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.
