Job summary

Driver Hire Motherwell is recruiting for a Class 2 (CAT C) HIAB driver with a remote HIAB. The role involves delivering building materials to sites in the local area, with some residential deliveries and handling smaller items by hand.

A 07:30 start and daily vehicle checks are part of the job, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. Candidate requirements include a valid Remote HIAB certificate, CPC card, tachograph card, good local knowledge and customer service

Job description

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking Class 2 (CAT C) HIAB (Brick Grab) for our busy client in Airdire. This position is ongoing with the view to turn permanent for the right person.

Duties will include;

• 07.30 start
• Carrying out daily routine vehicle checks
• Delivering building materials to smaller and larger sites
• Deliveries can be local and surrounding areas
• There will be some deliveries to residential areas
• Some drops with smaller items may include handball
• Use of HIAB ticket with Grab

You must have;

• A valid Remote HIAB certificate
• A good local area knowledge
• Good customer service
• A valid CPC card
• Digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on your licence*

The right candidate will ideally have knowledge of the building industry and experience in operating a remote Hiab vehicle.

This will be a temp to perm role

Rate of pay;

• £17.00 p/h paid via PAYE with holiday accrual
• £19.05 Per hour paid via PAYE Advanced (Holidays taken upfront)
• Pension contributions after qualifying period
• Weekly Paid
