Job summary

Wolseley Group in Newmains (Burdens) seeks a Delivery Driver (18T-23T with HIAB) to deliver and collect civils materials, while building strong customer relationships and upholding high standards.

The role is full-time, 45 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £34,500 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits including pension, annual leave and healthcare support.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 licence with HIAB experience.
• CPC card.
• Digital Tachograph card experience.
• Capable of using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
• Building excellent relationships with customers and representing the business to the very highest of standards.
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects.

As a HGV Driver based in Newmains you’ll be responsible for:

• The safe and efficient driving of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB.
• Delivering and collecting materials in the civils sector of the construction industry.
