Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Coventry is seeking an experienced HGV driver for a permanent, full-time position with early starts and multi-drop routes. You will drive safely, perform daily vehicle checks and ensure loads are delivered as required.

Candidates should hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card, with flexible hours and up to two nights out per week. DHL offers development support and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have at least 6 months’ recent HGV driving experience.
• Be flexible regarding working hours, routes and up to two nights out per week.
• Start time 4:00 am until 14:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to customer locations including up to two nights out per week when required
• Driving safely and efficiently while complying with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive requirements
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring loads are transported and delivered safely
• Completing manual handling activities as required
• Providing a professional and helpful service to our customers
• Following DHL Health & Safety standards, The Highway Code and all relevant road transport regulations
• Completing nights out when required as part of the role
• Working flexibly to support changing operational and customer requirements

Education

HGV Class 2 licence (Category C)

Support & Development
