Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, delivering Next Home furnishings safely and on time while providing an exceptional customer experience.

As part of a two-person delivery team, you will handle items from 5kg to 120kg, complete 20–30 deliveries daily depending on route, and perform vehicle checks in line with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV driving licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• Possess a Digital Tachograph Card and be comfortable with driving large items.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Next Home furnishings as part of a two-person team.
• Safely handle and deliver items weighing 5kg to 120kg while maintaining customer service.
• Complete 20–30 deliveries per day, depending on route and customer requirements.
• Conduct vehicle checks and follow health and safety procedures.

Play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering Next Home furnishings safely and on time while providing an exceptional customer experience.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Working as part of a two-person delivery team, delivering Next Home furnishings directly to customers' homes.
• Safely handling and delivering large items ranging from 5kg to 120kg while providing excellent customer service.
• Completing between 20 and 30 deliveries per day, depending on route and customer requirements.
• Conducting vehicle checks and following all health and safety procedures throughout the working day.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV driving licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and acting as the face of DHL and Next in customers' homes.
• Have home delivery experience, although this is desirable rather than essential.
• Are comfortable with physical work, including the safe handling of large and heavy items.
• Have 6 months Class 2 experience (Desirable)
