DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to ensure smooth, efficient operations and timely delivery of goods. The role involves home deliveries with a Driver’s Mate, in locations including Kent, Surrey and South London, with a 48-hour week rota and early start times.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and safety-focused culture, in a leading global logistics company.

Formación

• Hold a valid HGV 2 Driving License (C) and Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Maximum 6 penalty points on driving licence.
• Experience in home delivery preferred.
• Face-to-face customer service skills essential.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver bulky items to customers' homes with a Driver’s Mate.
• Routes around Kent, Surrey and South London.
• Drive safely and in line with Drivers’ Hours and WTD regulations.
• Perform regular vehicle safety checks and compliance with Highway Code.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 48 hours per week
Shift patterns: 3 week rota - 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off 5.30am start time
Location: Allington, Kent ME16 0LE

We're now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. We are happy to consider newly qualified drivers

A TYPICAL DAY WILL INVOLVE

• Delivering bulky items to customers homes such as beds, mattresses, wardrobes etc alongside a Drivers Mate
• Deliveries will be in and around , Kent, Surrey and South London
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have no more than 6 points on driving license
• Have experience of home delivery
• Have face to face customer service skills
• Are willing to complete a Basic DBS check (Funded by DHL)
