DHL Supply Chain in Reading is seeking an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join our team. This customer-facing role focuses on delivering alcoholic products with a strong emphasis on service and relationship-building.

The typical day includes early starts (4:30am/5:30am), 10–12 drops, and working with a driver mate. A rewarding social role with pension and benefits is offered.

Formación

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have 6 months recent Class 2 driving experience as this is essential.
• Happy to work with alcohol.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering alcoholic products to pubs, restaurants, and hotels, mainly in and around the outskirts of London.
• Completing 10–12 drops per day (on average).
• Managing manual handling of up to 11 tonnes of stock daily (handballing kegs of beer, etc).
• Working with a drivers mate, 2 person lifts.
• Complying with health and safety standards and The Highway Code and vehicle regulations.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Monday–Friday shift pattern with early starts (from 4:30am/5:30am)
• 2x Saturdays per year required as part of the role - all other Saturdays are paid as overtime (x1.5)
• Delivering alcoholic products to pubs, restaurants, and hotels, mainly in and around the outskirts of London
• Completing 10–12 drops per day (on average)
• Managing manual handling of up to 11 tonnes of stock daily (handballing kegs of beer, etc)
• Working with a drivers mate, 2 person lifts
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
