Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Dundee is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our two-person home delivery team. You will deliver and install bulky items such as washing machines and fridges with care, working a rotation schedule in a physically demanding role that keeps customers' homes safe and comfortable.

The role requires a valid Class 2 Licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with prior Class 2 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 2 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in Class 2 driving preferred.
• Physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customers homes as part of a two-person crew.
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards, Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of large, heavy items.

Pay Rate: £42,094.51
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time - 48hrs)
Shift patterns: Working on a rotation of 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off and 5 on 2 off. Start times may vary - typically between 05:00-08:00.

We're now looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our large item home delivery team. Working as part of a two-person crew, you'll be responsible for delivering and installing bulky items like washing machines, fridges etc with care and professionalism. You'll provide peace of mind to customers, knowing their valuable purchases are in capable hands.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customers homes as part of a two-person crew
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products - large, heavy items

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid Class 2 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have recent Class 2 driving experience
• Be happy working within a highly physical role
