Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver in Watford for a permanent full-time role. The position involves Monday–Friday shifts starting at 6am, with a typical day focused on safe driving, compliance, and timely deliveries.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 Licence (C), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, plus 6 months of driving experience, with duties including daily vehicle checks and occasional London-area driving.

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C).
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• 6 months recent driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner following regulations and directives.
• Complete vehicle checks regularly.
• Kerbside delivery using pump truck with about 8 drops per day.
• Deliver goods on time while maintaining safety and compliance.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Kerbside delivery using powered pump truck on average 8 drops per day

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You need to have 6 months recent driving experience
• Confident in driving in and around Central London
