Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services in Hatfield is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to support our logistics operations. You will deliver goods safely, follow Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive, and perform routine vehicle checks to keep the operation running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence and Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner per regulations.
• Complete vehicle checks regularly.
• Handle palletised goods with pallet truck and tail lift.

Pay Rate: £20.95 per hour
Grade: P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 40 hours per week
Shift patterns: Tuesday - Saturday /Sunday - Thursday (4 -6 am start time)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products (Pallet truck & Tail lift)

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience
