Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL in Normanton is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our busy operation, delivering vehicle parts to dealerships across Yorkshire and the North East. This is a permanent full-time role with a Monday–Friday night shift starting at 23:00.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with a focus on safety, reliability and customer service. Training and progression available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have previous night shift experience, or are comfortable working permanent nights.
• Have multi-drop delivery experience (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of vehicle parts to dealerships across Yorkshire and the North East.
• Loading and unloading trailers safely using rolling cages and manual pallet trucks.
• Driving professionally and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance at all times.
• Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 48 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Night Shift - 23:00 start
Location: Normanton - WF6 1TF

Whether you're an experienced HGV Driver or newly qualified, you'll be part of a supportive team that plays a key role in keeping the automotive industry moving.
