Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. is looking for a Driver Category C for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Erith depot (DA8 2AN). You will deliver and collect hire equipment, perform daily vehicle checks, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service. Training will be provided, including HIAB qualification.

The role requires a valid UK Category C licence, a clean driving record, and strong knowledge of the local area. Hybrid/work flexibility available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C licence is required.
• Commercial driving experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of local area is important.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect hire equipment across the local area.

Location: Erith (DA8 2AN)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 04:00/05:00am to 13:30/14:30pm

Speedy Hire are the UK's leading hire provider, we are looking for a Driver Category C to join our Erith depot, as one of the faces of Speedy, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service at every touchpoint, building positive relationships with customers, and ensuring equipment is delivered and collected in a professional manner. You'll carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure compliance with all road transport and health & safety regulations, and take pride in maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.As part of this role, you'll also have the opportunity to gain your HIAB qualification, with full training provided by Speedy.
