Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. in Erith is hiring a Driver Category C to join our depot. You will deliver and collect hire equipment locally, load and unload vehicles, and maintain daily vehicle checks while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid UK Category C licence, commercial driving experience, and strong knowledge of the local area. A full UK licence with up to 6 penalty points is expected, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Role - Driver Category C

Location : Erith

Hours : Monday to Friday, 04:00-13:00 or 05:00-14:30

Speedyare the UK's leading hire provider, we are looking for a Driver Category C to join our Erith depot. You'll play a key role in delivering and collecting hire equipment safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect hire equipment across the local area


• Load and unload vehicles safely


• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects


• Complete delivery paperwork and system updates


• Build positive customer relationships


• Support depot and transport operations

What You'll Need

• Valid UK Category C licence


• Commercial driving experience


• Good knowledge of the local area


• Strong customer service skills


• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
