Speedy Hire PLC in Middlesbrough is seeking a Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our depot team. You will deliver and collect plant, tools and equipment to customer sites and operate Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week.

As the face of Speedy Hire on the road, you will perform vehicle and equipment checks, complete paperwork accurately, and provide a professional service while upholding our safety standards and ESG commitments.

Qualifications

• Full, valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving Class 2 vehicles preferred.

Responsabilités

• Safely drive a Class 2 vehicle to customer sites and locations.
• Deliver and collect plant, tools and equipment.
• Load and unload equipment safely and securely.
• Carry out vehicle and equipment checks in line with company procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at every stop.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Work closely with the depot team to plan daily deliveries.
• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance at all times.

Driver Category C - Middlesbrough - Monday - Friday - 42 Hours a week.

As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you'll play an important role in delivering and collecting plant, tools and equipment from customers and sites. You'll be the face of Speedy Hire on the road, providing a professional and friendly service while ensuring every delivery and collection is completed safely and efficiently.

The Role:

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely driving a Class 2 vehicle to customer sites and locations.

• Delivering and collecting plant, tools and equipment.

• Loading and unloading equipment safely and securely.

• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks in line with company procedures.

• Completing delivery and collection paperwork accurately.

• Providing excellent customer service at every stop.

• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, professionally and on time.

• Working closely with the depot team to plan and manage your daily deliveries.

• Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance at all times.

What you'll need:

• A full, valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• A valid Driver CPC qualification.

• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is preferred.
