Job summary

Delifresh is seeking a Multi Drop Delivery Driver (7.5 tonne) in Cramlington. You will start early, load at the depot, and complete multiple deliveries with a focus on great service and safe driving.

The role involves 45 hours per week on a 4–6 day rotating schedule starting around 4am. Training is provided, with career support and a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Clean driver’s license is essential.
• CPC courses up to date are preferred.
• Full training and ongoing support provided.
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take care of customer orders from loading onto the van to safe delivery.
• Represent Delifresh on the road, driving safely and legally.
• Look after the vehicle including safety checks and cleanliness.
• Report delays or shortages immediately to the depot.
• Support fellow drivers and warehouse teammates as needed.

Multi Drop Delivery Driver (7.5 tonne) – Cramlington

About The Role

We enable support for colleagues from day one, we pride ourselves on delivering a platform of enabling us all to ‘Better Than Yesterday’ – such support is driven from the beginning with a period of induction and coaching to set you up to succeed in your role.

A day in the life of your role would include a 4am start, supporting loading your vehicle at our Cramlington depot before hitting the road to be the face of Delifresh and complete multi drop deliveries to our many valued customers. Before returning to your depot and supporting the vehicle to be cleaned and prepared ready for the next day.

You will work 45 hours a week on a 4, 5, 6 day rotational working week – commencing at 4am each day.

You will be responsible for:

• Taking care of our customers order, from loading onto your van to ensuring the safe delivery of our customer’s orders as if they were your own.
• Representing Delifresh whilst on the road, driving safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Looking after your vehicle, like it's your first car – including safety checks and cleanliness.
• Report any issues with delays or shortages straight away.
• Working to our values, we see ourselves as ‘One Team’ – supporting other drivers and warehouse teammates as needed.

About You

We’re looking for positive, dynamic people who take pride in both being ‘Brilliant To Work With’ and being the face of Delifresh and prioritising our customers’ requirements. The minimum lifting requirement for the role would be up to 25kg (the equivalent of a sack of potatoes)

It would also be great if you had:

• A clean driver’s license, however, drivers with up to 6 points will be considered
• Experience in a similar role, but don’t worry if not, full training and support is provided
• CPC courses that are up to date – still talk to us if not, we have access to a full training program
