Job summary

Veolia UK in Rochester is seeking a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join our waste and logistics fleet. You will operate RCVs, SKIP, and front-end loaders, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure paperwork is kept up to date in line with the driver operator handbook.

We offer an OTE of up to £53,023.22 per annum (base £43,023.22, with benefits and daily meal allowance), plus a £5 daily meal allowance and a £39.96 daily allowance after 110 bins, with 22 days leave and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Up-to-date CPC qualification.
• Digi/Tachograph card.
• Ability to route work.

Responsibilities

• Operating a variety of vehicles; RCV (dustcarts), RORO, SKIP, Front End Loader & Tail lift.
• Learn at least 3 RCV routes and another vehicle mode.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads.

Hours:

Average 48 hours per week
Start time varies between 4:00-05:00am Monday to Friday however must be flexible
Rostered Saturday working will be required

• Experience working in similar industry; Waste Management / Logistics
